Successful weekend

If you're tired on a monday, you have spent an awesome weekend! And so did I.

Saturday I had my first handballmatch as a referee. I was soo nervous before the game, but it was ok. Both teams grumbled indeed about some decicions I made, but if you are a referee, you're the boss on the court and everybody has to do what you say :D

Our male-fanclubteam pwned the other fanclubteam with 28:18! Well done, guys! I'm proud of you all! And in 2 weeks we try to do the same :)

Yesterday I went to the handballmatch of my new team. It was a very heart-stopping match, but in the end, they won 27:26. Sadly they didn't manage to be promoted into the 4th division. So next season we gonna play again in the 5th division and start a new try.

Later that evening we went to the hangout and celebrated the ending of the season with some beer and canapé. It was an amazing evening with the players, coaches and friends.

But now I have to continue working. More or less for about half an hour. Then I can say: It's home time!

Hugs,
Linda

Quite nervous

Tomorrow I gonna have my first handballgame as a referee. It's just a match between 2 fanclub-teams, but I'm soooo nervous. I have fear that I decide wrong in some situations.

Please wish me luck for tomorrow :)

Linda

Travel bug

I'm back home from Sweden since about 3 weeks and all I wish is to be there now or rather for the rest of my life.

It was a really awesome time in Malmö and surroundings. Met some German Saade-Fans there and of course my idol Eric Saade. Wont forget these days. I really miss Sweden. Each evening I'm lying on my bed crying.

Everytime I'm in Sweden for holidays I feel like being home. A feeling, that I've never had when I'm here in Germany. I know Malmö, Stockholm and other cities much better than my hometown. This feeling bolsters me to go back to Sweden. And I want to spend there the rest of my life. There are no many reasons which keep me here anymore. Fundamentally it's only my family which keeps me here. If I had the money, I would emigrate immediately.

First reply from a star

I have never thought, that I once get a reply on Twitter from a star. But today I got one and I'm so happy about that.

Thank you so much, September, for the reply. That means a lot to me, cause I really love your music.

To those, who don't know September:

Her original name is Petra Marklund and she's a famous singer from Sweden. Her most famous song was "Cry for you" (2006) which has also been in the charts in some other european countries.

And this is my favourite song of her:

Same procedure as every day

Getting up early is really pissing me off. Every single day the alarm-clock wakes me up at 5 a.m. - a very unpleasant time. Need more sleep, but I don't get it.

So at 6.30 I leave my home to go to work. 2 hours going by bus and train. And that's only one-way. It's very boring, but I survive this time with listening to the best music on earth: Eric Saade.

But the worst thing of the day is, when you arrive at work after these 2 boring hours and there is really nothing to do. Not a single task to do, but you have to stay at least 8 hours.

Today is again such a day. So I'm going to answer some questions, which I was asked by several persons. Enjoy :)

If you were a teacher, what subject would you like to teach?
- I actually haven't thought about that. Maybe maths and geography

What smell brings you back to a childhood?
- That smell of charred gumboots ;)

What’s the first thing you did when you woke up today?
- I smashed the alarm-clock against the wall. hahaha, just joking. I took a shower :)

What drink do you prefer when you’re thirsty?
- Apple spritzer or just simple water

Why do women live longer than men?
- Because they get credited the amount of time they need for getting into a parking space. *smile* I actually don't know, why they live longer. Maybe, because men have to do harder work.
You're planning a nice dinner party but could only invite 3 people. Who would you invite?
- Only 3? Aaah...that's hard to choose, cause there are a lot of people I would invite. Let me think about that. Hmmm...Now I have it. I would invite Eric Saade, Danny Saucedo and the amazingly Kim :)

When was the last time you got in trouble? What did you do?
- That was a pretty awkward situation. I've been at the Copenhagen airport 3 weeks ago. I checked in my luggage and put my ticket into my handbag. Afterwards I left the building to smoke a cigarette, cause there were about 3 hours left until my plane departed. Some minutes later, I was on my way to the security control. There I needed to show my ticket. I opened my handbag and got a shock: My ticket was missing! Then I remembered, that I put an old newspaper into the dustbin. I ran back to it and found my ticket in it. It took a load off my mind when I've found it.

What languages do you speak?
- German is my mothertongue. In school I've learnt English, French and Spanish. And additional to that I speak some Swedish.

Ok, I think that's all for the moment. I will answer to more questions later :)

Hugs,
Linda

Here I am...

...back again!

Inspired by some friends, I finally decided to start a second try with a blog. After I haven't written that much on my old blog, which was only in German language, I'm now starting this blog totally in English.

I won't have a special topic, I'm going to write about, but I think, some posts will be about Sweden. As you can see on my blog-title, I'm totally addicted to Sweden. I adore this country: the beautiful landscape, very nice people and the language are making it worth to travel often to this wonderful country.

To those who don't know me, I'll introduce myself :)

My name is Linda, 25 y.o. and I live in a little city near Cologne, Germany.  In my sparetime I play handball in 2 teams, learn different languages (atm Swedish and refreshing my Spanish-skills) and I listen to music. My favourite kind of music? Well, I don't have a special one, but I mostly listen to musicians and bands from Scandinavia, like Eric Saade, Danny Saucedo, The Rasmus, Sunrise Avenue, Ola and some more. I actually don't like that mainstream-music which is in the German charts.

Well, I think, that were the most important facts about me. If you want to know more about me, just ask. But I'm sure, you get some more facts about me in the next postings.

Hope you'll like my newest blog :)

Hugs,
Linda
